Charis is available to lead worship for your church congregation or group event, no matter how big or small. The last thing this world needs is another Christian music group promoting their own agenda. We exist to help lead worship and minister to your local congregation. Charis has a wide variety of musical styles that can be incorporated into any worship setting - so no, we don't just sing hymns! We realize every church is different, and has it's own 'culture'. As guests, it is difficult to anticipate what may or may not be appropriate in your house of worship. Our goal is to be relational and connect on a personal level with your congregation. We would never want to cause a hindrance or offend anyone, either intentionally or due to poor preparation. With that in mind, through proper communication before hand, we plan appropriate worship songs/styles that will relate to each particular audience in order for your congregation to enter in to worship.
Charis doesn’t even sell CD's at concerts! The CD's are sold online, but at a live event, we actually let people make any donation towards the CD - whatever they want to give - and they can have one! In today's economic struggles, we realize that most churches are struggling financially. We have a few options for you to choose which one would fit your particular event and within your budget.

In today's economic struggles, we realize that most churches are struggling financially. We have a few options for you to choose which one would fit your particular event and within your budget.
#1 – Charis - You can book Charis (Jason, Ann and Tracy) for free! We will create an intimate, acoustic style worship event using piano, acoustic guitars and percussion, as well as accompaniment tracks. The trio is a perfect fit for a worship service or banquet event requiring minimal space. The only financial responsibility we ask from you is to pay our traveling expenses. This is usually just round trip gasoline cost, but if that's not possible, we will even cover our own traveling expenses. If you want to take up a "love offering" or give an honorarium, that's your decision but not required.
#2 – Charis Unplugged – With this option, we bring a small acoustic band with us that consist of using piano, bass guitar and auxiliary percussion – 5 people total. This gives more of a laid back feel of what we do, but by utilizing a small band. In the past, this set up has encouraged the musicians in the church and also helped churches realize the possibilities of adding a live band into their worship services. Charis Unplugged can be used in a worship service or can fade into the background at a fellowship event, banquet, wedding, Christmas party, etc. The more people we bring with us, obviously the more traveling expenses we have and we need to guarantee some type of income for the band members involved. The minimum price we ask for this option would be $500, plus traveling expenses. You could take up an offering to help meet this cost or pay an honorarium out of your budget or a combination of both.
#3 – Charis Live – This option utilizes a full band that consist of keyboards, electric/acoustic guitars, and drums - usually 7 people total. This gives you the complete effects, volume and energy of a full live band. The minimum price we ask for this option would be $1,000, plus traveling expenses.
All of these price options are negotiable. We will work with you and within your budget. The truth is, the more people and equipment involved, the more it cost us to do what we do. All of the members of the Charis band are worship leaders at heart as well as seasoned professional musicians. We are all called to ministry first, but we believe the scriptural principle that a worker is worth his wage. Therefore, we strive to never take advantage of any of our team or their willingness to serve and partner with us in ministry.
