CHARIS IS GOING TO PUERTO RICO IN June 2013!
We are honored to be able to go on a missions trip this coming June to Puerto Rico. We will be singing in several different prisons, doing a few street block parties, leading worship at a few churches and teaching at a worship conference specifically for worship leaders. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We have decided as a group to give away hundreds of CDs to the worship teams, prisoners and to those living in poverty that we will be with. If you would like to help cover our costs for CDs, as well as help with our traveling expenses, you can click on the "donate" icon and enter any amount you desire. Thanks for your help. Please pray for us as we embark on this incredible opportunity.

CHARIS
Charis (pronounced Karis) is a greek word which means, grace. Ann, Jason and Tracy met each other at church in Oxford, Alabama, where an incredible friendship was formed. They would sing in church every now and then, but mostly just around the piano in Jason and Ann's living room. They never planned on recording a CD together. In 2008, they had talked about recording a few hymns just for their parents to enjoy. Later, with Jason's manipulation skills, they decided to try to record a full length CD of hymns, arranged in a more modern style. They refer to it as "refried hymns".
The CD was released on December 1st 2009. There is a wide variety of music styles, from classic hymns, acapella, rock, blues, and pop music, all set to timeless lyrics of the hymns of our faith.
Since the release of "The Hymn Project", Charis has been ministering to local church congregations and group events through worship concerts, retreats and conferences. They are currently working on another CD recording of worship music while staying committed to leading worship for churches as their schedule allows.
