Jason Lee is the youngest, heaviest and most immature member of Charis. He grew up in a minister of music's home and was raised on the music of Bill Gaither and Led Zeppelin. He has a church music degree from Anderson University and has 18 years of progressive experience in the music ministry. He has experience as a worship leader, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, arranger, and producer.
He has released several CD's of original material that are available on iTunes and at www.jasonleemusic.com He's passionate about music and leading others in worship. He loves to write music, but his main focus is on developing worshipers and living a life of passionate praise as a friend of God. Jason loves motorcycles, snow skiing, flavored coffee and all you can eat buffets. His goal in life is to visit every restaurant featured on Dives and Diners and put the guy on Man vs. Food to shame. He is married to Ann (the tallest member of Charis) and they live in Rainbow City, AL with their three loud children; Janna (8), Zane (5), and Kyra (3).
Jason is currently the worship pastor at CrossPoint Community Church in Gadsden, AL. He leads a dynamic worship ministry which utilizes a choir, band, orchestra, and several vocal teams as well as overseeing a growing media ministry. CrossPoint worship services are aired on TV24 on Sunday's at 9am. The church is trying really hard to lose religion - and find Jesus.
